Permalink Reply by Bette Kibble on September 10, 2011 at 10:46am Sorry Charlene, I don't understand, "look back at creation and realize we are separate from it, "remember who we are"
I am Mother Earth, very much joined with creation, not separate at all. Please enlighten as to what memory of "who we are" Thanks, Peace

Permalink Reply by Lee Tamplain on September 10, 2011 at 4:59pm Bette, Keenashe, Charlene: My question is what is the "Proof" of a "shift"? Dreams, realizations, revelations are not "proof" of anything except that one is trying to understand one's place in the Universe.
In an interesting point my Teacher said many times, "The Observer cannot be the observed." In the same way, the Creator cannot be the created. This brings me to Consciousness, Bette. In another response, you said something about "Levels of Consciousness" and Eric has said something about "raising our consciousness". Words are so limiting and have different connotations for different people, but...
We ARE Pure Consciousness. It is the undefinable. It is the canvas upon which all that is perceived IS perceived; all that is created is made manifest; all that can be sensed is experienced. We are Consciousness; we are not the created. We perceive creation through our awareness and senses and come to realize all that is created gets swallowed by the physical universe, but Consciousness is the stage where it is all happening and can't be destroyed.
In another story from my Teacher about His Teacher: His Guru meets His boyhood spiritual teacher on the roadside. The older teacher is stuck in "The Void". His Student picks up a twig from the roadside and says (forgive me for trying to quote a Sage) "You see the stick in my hand. When the stick is removed, what is left is not "nothingness" it is "Consciousness". Keep your stand there." I cannot do justice to the words or their import. This is what we are all striving for. It takes concentration and personal realization to come to Know what this means. We are all stuck in our own wrappings that we've packaged our minds in, but removing the wrappings and seeing the present inside is what life is all about!

Bette Kibble said:I took it to mean thet we look back at Cation and Realize we separated ourselves in our minds from creation and then when we go back to that initial premise ....we Realize "who we are" a part of All of it....but i can't speak for Charlotte...that is just how i took it

Permalink Reply by Bette Kibble on September 10, 2011 at 10:29pm I think many of us consciously perceive that we have been had, by a slow, gradual dominating force that became so powerful they don't mind getting sloppy on their works. We speculated conspiracy theories before, but it is all too obvious now. That alone is proof of a shift in conciousness in my opinion.
Self examinations like "We ARE pure conciousness" is a bit trifle for the moment. It best be, at the very least instilled in the subconscious to be effective.
The masses have been programmed to fear God or they will go to hell. To try and convert the masses to "Buddha" or conscious awareness is not going to work, this late in the game. It is so important these republicans don't get in, there is not much time left. Whether or not you believe in Jesus matters not: to beat these republicans you have to use their deity against them. Picket where ever they speak, signs like "Jesus did not use force" "he came to save the oppressed not the righteous" Your God kills, Jesus and our God is loving" "your God is Money" "Our God is Love " "There is only one God so You must be the anti-christ" . "Love is God" "We are our brothers keeper" "You use fear to control people" and the list can go on with scriptures right out of the very book they read. Jesus did not get angry in the den of sinners he was angry at the churches for using their authority to make money. I know most of you would rather not even hear the name, because you seem to think it's his name that is the problem. In this case he is your only savoir if you truly want to stop this. You will gain support from their own followers. Most people know that God is Love. The con's are in Canada for 4 long years, they would love the republican's all too well. It is a scary thing, choose wisely is all I can say. peace
Permalink Reply by Bette Kibble on September 10, 2011 at 11:21pm I know Bette, but what are we going to do passively love it away? it will take too long. I'm suggesting a passive persuasion by signs to remind people that Jesus was Love and Compassion, not control, hate and fear. Nobody even has to speak, better they keep silent and let the people read it. They are humble servants spreading the truth. Point out the lifestyle of this Republican party, it is far more extravagant than the masses it controls. These people are God's people too, they should be free. This republican party is so dangerous to liberation and democracy, unless we have the meditative powers to change it from where we sit, we best get off our ass. jus sayin

What would you consider spirituality? Is it a sense of self, or perhaps its a sense of our surroundings? I have no opinion in this, I would just like to hear your answers of what you consider to be spirituality.Continue

Anything a person says about the true intentions of Jesus are pure speculation. He never wrote anything down. NONE of us have any idea what he actually said, what he meant. You can make Jesus into absolutely ANYTHING you want to believe him to be. But that does not make it true. More people have died in his name than any other.…Continue

Up until fairly recently, I went through most of my life thinking about what I thought the world owed me and what I could get from it. Then a transformation began, one which is very much still playing out - evolving, and I experienced something of a shift in perspective.Without giving it much thought, my natural inclination has been to consider what I owe the world and what I can give it - as it has given me everything and always does.…Continue

The newer popular alternatives to religion, that come in the form of new age spirituality such as "The Secret" are just as loony as the promise of heaven for the believer, and a lake of hellfire for the nonbeliever. This ever so intoxicating form of delusion is simply more escapism - a new belief system to impose upon reality, in order to avoid true, honest and courageous self inquiry. In this form of wishful thinking the egoic mind is "meant" to have whatever it visualizes and this gets…Continue

If a book guides you, my feeling is that such a book would not be as reliable a guide as love. Best to follow the heart, even foolishly at times, if one is to be a real human being. My heart tells me that the world is in a desperate state of crisis right now. I feel driven to stand up and do my part to try to lead where I can, and to reduce suffering where I can, and to never lose sight of the reality that it's not really me who is doing any of it. The human experience is but a fraction of who…Continue

The Jewel of Enlightenment is hidden in the lotus. Sure. But it's also hidden in the BMW website and in the faces of all the starving children. The Jewel of Enlightenment is hidden at WalMart and in the heart of your worst enemy. The Jewel of Enlightenment is hidden in every star and in every subatomic particle. The Jewel of Enlightenment is hidden in plain sight. The Jewel of Enlightenment is You.…Continue
