Keenashe - It's important to find out for oneself and not just "believe" in stories and so-called "prophecies".  I would encourage you to stay true to what you showed up for here and continue to inquire.

This is exactly where I am in my thoughts.  How can the world be shown that religious beliefs hold no power over TRUTH; beliefs do not alter Truth anymore than a passing cloud changes the sun's status.  I hope the seeming momentum building against religious dogma continues its ascent and opens the minds of, Americans in particular, but also of the world.

Lee,I love what you said about Clouds not being able to change the Sun's status..clouds are like illusions covering the Light of Truth and they always pass...don't they?

I am the wife of a fundamentalist minister, who had an awakening, Proof that a shift is happening.  The end happens within us, after we look back at creation and realize we are separate from it, and remember who we are.

great picture Eric, and yes so many people have left their Religions because of this horror and fear instilled as a kid. ( i know i have) When they become adults and realize this can't be true. if they believe in God and God is Love why would he condemn any of His creation to hell?...eternal hell no less.....the problem is alot of people don't know where to go from there....This site is doing a great service of showing some other options and food for thought and contemplation and getting one in touch with their own innate Wisdom. i hope it grows in many ways that we can't even see yet....or maybe you have a Vision...

I took it to mean thet we look back at Creation and Realize we separated ourselves in our minds from Creation and then when we go back to that initial premise ....we Realize "who we are"   a part of All of it..(Collective Consciousness)........but i can't speak for Charlotte...that is just how i took it

Bette, Keenashe, Charlene:  My question is what is the "Proof" of a "shift"?  Dreams, realizations, revelations are not "proof" of anything except that one is trying to understand one's place in the Universe.

In an interesting point my Teacher said many times, "The Observer cannot be the observed."  In the same way, the Creator cannot be the created.  This brings me to Consciousness, Bette.  In another response, you said something about "Levels of Consciousness" and Eric has said something about "raising our consciousness".  Words are so limiting and have different connotations for different people, but...

We ARE Pure Consciousness.  It is the undefinable.  It is the canvas upon which all that is perceived IS perceived; all that is created is made manifest; all that can be sensed is experienced.  We are Consciousness; we are not the created.  We perceive creation through our awareness and senses and come to realize all that is created gets swallowed by the physical universe, but Consciousness is the stage where it is all happening and can't be destroyed.

In another story from my Teacher about His Teacher:  His Guru meets His boyhood spiritual teacher on the roadside.  The older teacher is stuck in "The Void".  His Student picks up a twig from the roadside and says (forgive me for trying to quote a Sage) "You see the stick in my hand.  When the stick is removed, what is left is not "nothingness" it is "Consciousness".  Keep your stand there."  I cannot do justice to the words or their import.  This is what we are all striving for.  It takes concentration and personal realization to come to Know what this means.  We are all stuck in our own wrappings that we've packaged our minds in, but removing the wrappings and seeing the present inside is what life is all about!

Sorry, been gone.  Bette was right.  That's ACIM.  We think we're separate, but we're not.  We are projecting instead of being.  It's like everything kept evolving until all of a sudden a brain was developed that was intelligient enough to look at it instead of just be part of it.

My Guru said something similar...we have gotten ourselves into a bottle....if we got ourselves into it we Know how to get ourselves out...come out of the bottle...that is Pure Consciousness

my God is not divided like that ...my God is Everything and Everywhere and in Everyone

I think many of us consciously perceive that we have been had, by a slow, gradual dominating force that became so powerful they don't mind getting sloppy on their works.  We speculated conspiracy theories before, but it is all too obvious now.  That alone is proof of a shift in conciousness in my opinion.  

Self examinations like "We ARE pure conciousness" is a bit trifle for the moment.  It best be, at the very least instilled in the subconscious to be effective. 

The masses have been programmed to fear God or they will go to hell.  To try and convert the masses to "Buddha" or conscious awareness is not going to work, this late in the game. It is so important these republicans don't get in, there is not much time left.  Whether or not you believe in Jesus matters not: to beat these republicans you have to use their deity against them.  Picket where ever they speak, signs like "Jesus did not use force" "he came to save the oppressed not the righteous" Your God kills, Jesus and our God is loving"  "your God is Money"  "Our God is Love "  "There is only one God so You must be the anti-christ" . "Love is God" "We are our brothers keeper"  "You use fear to control people" and the list can go on with scriptures right out of the very book they read. Jesus did not get angry in the den of sinners he was angry at the churches for using their authority to make money.  I know most of you would rather not even hear the name, because you seem to think it's his name that is the problem.  In this case he is your only savoir if you truly want to stop this.  You will gain support from their own followers.  Most people know that God is Love. The con's are in Canada for 4 long years, they would love the republican's all too well. It is a scary thing, choose wisely is all I can say.  peace

 Keenashe ( you do have meditative power)   Love is not passive ....to truly love is an Energy that you can send across the Universe...is a Way of Being....Be Love.  Be Jesus ....be Light....might as well Realise it.... cause you already are.All That.....others will have the courage by your Light and Love as you radiate that from your Being
