Some of us have many voices in our head and it is learning about who we want to be that puts us on a path. Choosing the voice of the next right thing is what I listen for. LadyJ

Interesting point. But the ego has many voices and is a powerful force within us all, so much so it can disguise itself in many ways in order to perpetuate its primary aim -to take us out of the present moment where its powerless leaving only consciousness or the truth. The many voices could ultimately be just one voice changing itself constantly to fool us into staying in the past or thinking about the future, neither of one exists. That is at least how I understand it from my interpretation of ET. By the way, this is a discussion based on ET isn't it? So are we basing our moment to moment thoughts that we are sharing on his books and teachings etc?
