Come join us at the Temple!

Not to be confused with the secret society Illuminati. Temple Illuminatus is home of the  not-at-all-secret society of the Neo-Illuminati new (neo means new).

Who are we? We're everyone and anyone who is interested in self and social enlightenment coming together to co-create the Temple. We believe illumination, literally enlightenment, is not the domain of an elite few, but belongs to all people and can be found through all paths.

I am a Scorpion...but I believe I have been many of the stars and heavenly sets of signs ...for my concept is one must experience all to have a deep concept of what all is pertaining to all of us as we walk the different paths as our sisters and brothers do in any chosen time...perhaps thats why we are not to judge any one or anything it is not our call to do so for in doing that we are but judging ourselves...and baring witness to our own soul of existence!...think on the ones we instantly connect to could it be we have an inner bond for we were once of the same star at one time?...and those we have a disregard for , could it be a harmful situation may have taken place with that star that we have not ventured into being yet?....what are your thoughts on this? thankyou

I dated a Scorpio briefly last year. I am an Auquarius and those two signs are highly attracted to one another. It was extremely fun and very intense. Unfortunately, he was also very self centered and did not understand how offended I was when my own boyfriend didn't offer to help me move (even though he was part of the reason I was moving) and told me I was immature for not asking for help. He knew I was very independent and am not one to ask for things that are not offered unless I am desperate. All turned out well in the end though because I found my perfect match in a wonderful Libra whose balanced nature is exactly what my logical and dreaming Aquarius nature needs. I don't think shelled exterior signs are a good match for me anyway because I dated a Cancer too and felt too distant from him. I tend to keep my distance when others keep theirs but open up and let an abundance flow when I feel safe. Shell signs....beautiful and hard to crack ;-)

Hey, I am labeled the nurturing earth mother no matter what! And, yes, I tire of it since that is not all of who I am.

I am a fan of thorough!

Oh god, Aries! Everywhere I turn I attract Aries and I am drawn to them and ouch and wow. My last therapist went into deep study of astrology and did an in depth reading. Here is some insight into my level of information attachment, and I might even have it wrong: moon in Cancer sun in Aries. Leila, does this sound right? On an oh so general level I am asking because my motivation to remember and my ability to remember things, well, you get the picture!

Okay, I have not had any hot Scorpios in my life....

Damn...........

I love scorpios... I tend to get very flirty with them. They're er... hot! I'm an air sign, a triple gemini, so very airy, and I get 'consumed' by fire signs, I tend to be very attracted to aries and scorpios and them to me. Though the fire signs can wear me out, literally consume me.

I have had one Scorpio friend. This challenged my water/fire-ness. But, she is an amazing human being. I did not want to be in the same city when she was pissed though.....

Does that apply to you?

Meditations on Ego and Enlightenment - by Eric Allen Bell

Over a long enough period of time, the survival rate for your body is zero.  Contained within the body is the brain and one of the functions of the brain is the ego.  The ego is the self concept of the brain-body organism and it does not like what was just said one bit.…

What is the True Meaning of Yoga? - by Eric Allen Bell

With each passing day, as I look inward and as I take in what is going on with the world outside, my heart opens. And the more it opens the more I understand why I have kept it shut for so long. The more my heart opens, the more I understand why the world has closed its heart.

What Happens When I Die? - by Eric Allen Bell

Art by Alex Grey

In order to answer the question, "What happens when I die?" I feel it is important to take a look at something a bit less speculative and that is the question of what happens when we live.

There is no way to understand death if you don't know what life is. What happens between the moment you take…

santa claus, christianity, dyanalinga, meditation and our thoughts.

Here in the west, it seems as if Christianity has some kind of monopoly on religion. As years go by, however, the concept of the holy trinity and Jesus being the son of God isn’t sitting well in the minds of the youth. Catholicism and Judaism do not prove to be a satisfactory alternative, either. Instead of looking inwards for the answers, kids would rather claim there is NO God and don the robes of an Atheist.

For most of my childhood and going into my young adult…
