Global One TV: A Blog for Mystics - by Eric Allen Bell

Inward Revolution Creates Outward Revolution

I'm a a path to reduce my suffering. The process of confronting happens repeatedly. Last night it was very cold with beautiful blowing snow. Was having a wonderful dinner out with my dad. Today he is 80; what a wonderful accomplishment. Driving back home I had the nightmare thought of my 21 year old grandson freezing to death and I should call him to make sure he was alright: grandma to the rescue. This was suffering. I reminded myself that my grandson's death is not my business. He doesn't need rescuing. I need rescuing from my painful thoughts. Poof, no more suffering.

Awesome example, thanks :-) It's still ok for grandmas to call their children out of love not fear.
Thanks for responding. This is my first posting. Felt like a little voice sent across unknown space and time. Funny how you said grandmas can call their children not grandchildren. This grandson out of 7 grandchildren is like my own son only born from my daughter. Right on. And yes calling out of love not fear is the right time to call. Thanks

Byron Kathleen Reid (or "Katie" as she is called) became severely depressed in her early thirties. Then, one morning in February 1986, while in a halfway house for women with eating disorders, she…Continue
