I have read nothing but raves about this. I have been researching to see what I could learn and so far, the reviews are pretty awesome.

I am so looking forward to doing this. I am now searching out a shaman in Texas that I may be able to go to. I come from a long line of healers stemming from Mayan heritage. I think maybe an Uncle can tell me who to talk to. Ha! I used to be embarrassed because none of my friends families were like this or like mine and now look at me!

Thanks Scarlet, I will check this out. I do wonder how things like that work. The experiences I have had include ongoing visits with my Angels, and other things but I have never ever even taken so much as a prescribed pain pill, and I do not drink either. SO, this is like a brand new consideration for me. AND I am so interested in it. THANKS SO MUCH.

Oh okay Scarlet. I will ask around and see what I can find. I have never done anything like it before. It sounds kind of scary to me. But I think I would like to try it.

Since I live alone do you think I should have someone stay with me while I do this?

Scarlet: I have never heard of ayahuasca. I looked it up but just gleaned the information about it.

I was just teasing you Scarlet, but after I read what I typed it tickled me to see myself ranting on and on and on... in a comment section... LOL!

I love where you say that meditation and prayer open your heart... I SO AGREE and if I go very long without it I start to feel a sadness and a loss so deep I cannot function. It creates such a strong connection to ALL THAT IS and all we really are!

Please tell me more about that ayahuasca. I am very interested in it.

If --after I reprogram my subconscious-- I still cannot get the results I am trying for, then it is Karma and I can just lay that particular idea to rest until a later time to retry. This way I can just move on to creating other things, situations, etc.

haha Scarlet, your post sounds to me like me when I am being polite but just wanting to get away from that talkative aunt that never lets you go.

What I was trying to say in a nutshell, is that when one practices all the meditation techniques and nothing happens, no results are gotten, then it has to be one of two things in my opinion. Karma or secondary gain issues ruled by the subconscious.

When in Theta Trance, one can reprogram that subconscious to believe what we consciously want it to believe. That is what I am doing. LOLOL

I realize that Theta Waves particularly affect emotional health, the subconscious and secondary gain issues. It is my understanding (and I am NO expert) that it is the subconscious that sends messages to your emotions causing reactions to life and circumstances. When we keep reacting to the same situation the same way over and over again, it is feedback that creates a self prophesying fulfillment that is hard to break once it is ingrained to such a degree.

I have just realized that my emotional health has been neglected for all of my life and I did not even realize that Theta Waves affected this. It was not until I had to stop and check out why I was having such a strong response to THETA waves that I learned what I am telling you now.

Secondary gain issues can thwart any effort you make if your subconscious is not willing because of previous programming. IN fact, I read that the subconscious will always prevail. Therefore if one does not like the way their life is running try focusing on reprogramming the subconscious mind. I am trying very hard to re-program my subconscious. THETA waves allow for this in a big way...

I am still in experimental stages with this butt when I start seeing results from this I will be happy to share with you my friend...

I sure have Scarlet. My favorite meditation cd is from a Dr. Jeffrey Thompson. I have most of his releases but my favorite at this time is the Theta Series.

My biology (body, every part of it from atoms to stem cells) strongly respond to theta waves. The Quantum K series has had the biggest noticeable result thus far, and I use it every single day, before beginning any meditation as a preface therein.

What seems amazing to me is that whenever it is time to start using another cd such as the Gamma, Alpha or Theta series, something inside of me knows and when I do it is particularly appropriate to what is going on in my life.

Just another thing to be grateful for; the intelligence in all things.
